Who keeps this notebook

I'm Burhan. Software engineer, working in data systems.

The name of this place, faber ihsan, is a standard to keep, not a brand.

Faber is Latin for smith or maker. The word says something about people: man is a creator, set apart by what he makes. A faber has a drive to build, and expresses himself through what he builds.

Ihsan is Arabic, from ahsana, to make good, to make beautiful. It is the highest level of faith: to act as if every act is an act of worship. Prayer, work, how you treat people, the same presence in all of it.
